They had all been so busy with working and even though she saw Troian and even Drew she felt like she hadn’t actually spent time with them in ages. She really missed them both. When Troian had mentioned coming over she jumped at the chance. She was really thankful to be able to have some time with her best friend. It would be nice to just talk and catch up. It felt like they might have a lot to say. They had been working random hours, so finally on Memorial Day Lucy was able to go visit with Troian.
She pulled on a pair of denim shorts, a tank top, and flip flops. She figured they were staying in so it’d be a good idea to just be casual. It didn’t take long for her to get to Troian’s house and she stopped by to pick up some chicken, potato salad, and brownies. Hopefully, she hadn’t eaten lunch yet because Lucy was starving.
Now after having everything together she was at the front of her door and knocking ready to pounce Troian. She was so happy to see her again.
It was hot, maybe too hot. Troian felt pretty uncomfortable all of the time now, even dressed in sweat pants and a t-shirt. Even though Lucy and her, had been filming together recently they hadn’t really been talking all that much. Probably because it was go go go right now on set, and often they were called for various times during the day.
Finally with a day off, it was the perfect opportunity to catch up. Not knowing whether to cook something or not, she decided against it, knowing they could just get take out if the worst happened. Hearing the crunch of gravel outside she stood up, and was at the door when Lucy knocked.
Pulling it open, a smile spread across her face, “Lucy!” She exclaimed, pulling her shorter friend in for a hug, before standing back to let her walk inside the house.
Missing him sucks, yo.
